Join us for a day of advocacy on Capitol Hill! Aeromedical reform advocates from across the country will be meeting in Washington DC for PMHC's Advocacy in Action Day on Tuesday, March 12. It's time for the aviation community to come together and stand up for pilot mental health.
PMHC's Inaugural Advocacy Day will be the first time many members of Congress hear directly from aviation mental health reform advocates. We'll be meeting with the offices of key decision makers in Congress to help them understand the critical issues related to pilot mental health, and what they can do legislatively to improve access to care for America's aviators.
US Capitol, Washington DC.
The advocacy day will begin around 8:00am on Tuesday March, 12 and go to roughly 5:00pm. PMHC encourages attendees to be present for our reception on the evening of the 11th, but this is not required. We'll also be having a social gathering after the advocacy day on Tuesday. Whether you stay for the nights of Monday 3/11 and Tuesday 3/12, or just Monday is your choice.
Once you RSVP you will be sent an email with details, including how to access PMHC's group hotel rate of $204 per night. You'll also be asked to fill out the attendee questionnaire which will go over logistical questions. The advocacy day itself is free of charge for all attendees, all we ask is that you show up ready to talk with our leaders about aviation mental health! PMHC will prepare all materials and brief all attendees in advance of our arrival.
